Monitors AnyWhere runs over a VGA over LAN (VoL) technology.VoLzero clientsreplace graphic card and connect a central computer to each monitor, through a local network.
Each VoLzero client has its own unique IP address permitting Monitors AnyWhere to communicate directly between the computer and the displays. Using our dedicated software you can search the network and connect the component to the computer.
Monitors Anywhere takes advantage of existing functionality within operating systems called Extended Desktop Mode, through which different content can be displayed simultaneously on multiple screens which are connected to only one computer.
The remote monitors – distributed throughout your establishment – are controlled and fed by the Monitors AnyWhere central control system.

1. VGA over LAN zero clients from different manufacturers should not be installed on the same computer.
2. VGA over LAN zero clients based upon SMSC chipsets are limited to 14 monitors for the following operating systems: XP, Windows7, Server2008, and support up to 20 monitors when Windows8 or Server2012 are installed.
3. VGA over LAN zero clients based upon DisplayLink chipsets are limited to 6 monitors when Windows XP or Windows 7 is installed, and 14 monitors when Windows MultiPoint Server 2011 or 2012 is installed.
4. VGA over LAN zero clients must be located in the same LAN network segment.
5. .Net Framework 2.0 and above must be installed and enabled on the computer running Monitors AnyWhere.
